【摘要】:Thisproceduredefinesthemeasurementprocedurefordeterminingtheratioofcarriertothermalnoiseand'noise-like'interferenceforbroadbandtelecommunicationssystemcomponents.Thetestinvolvesmeasuringthenoiselevels,orthecombinednoiseplus'noise-like'intermodulationproductlevels,relativetothecarrierlevelofaCWsignal.Thenoisecontributionofthetestequipmentisalsomeasuredtoallowforcorrectionofreadingsnearthetestequipmentnoisefloor.ANSI/SCTE962003,CableTelecommunicationsTestingGuidelines,hasadditionaldefinitionscommontothisandotherSCTEtestprocedures.
